Foreground is a women’s golf initiative I started for my senior project to comfortably introduce more women to the game since it is currently so male-dominated. To do this, I created a brand for the movement, did a few photoshoots and made content, created a website, and started social media accounts.
A Women’s Golf InitiativeWhat’s Our Story?
Golf is a fun, active, social sport that is currently very male-dominated.This is not just a sport for old men! This is a day out with the girls for 4-5 hours in the sunshine with few drinks in hand staying active! Foreground began with a goal to provide a safe space for women to come and be introduced to the game for themselves since most courses can be very intimidating and not accommodating to women.
Brand Strategy
PURPOSE
Our mission is to start a movement in women’s golf. This community is focused on introducing golf to women in a positive way in order to create a sense of belonging and excitement to new players. Golf is a sport anyone can enjoy, and we want to create a space that women can go to in order to get information about how to play, find social golf clubs for women in their own city, host events to spark interest, and even give insight to the most stylish brands and apparel that are on the market right now.

We focus on reaching out to young women ages 18-50 that want to explore the world of golf.

Colors & Assets
I started an instagram account for this initiative in order to drive traffic and be more accessible to a younger audience. I made all of the content, took and edited the photos, researched the information provided, and posted the content.
WEBSITE
The main part of this project was the website, as I needed a place women could go to in order to get all of the information in one place easily. This is still a working process as I learn more and add more information, but it is up and running.
